Are the GOROSEI Immortal???

 The one-piece community is a place full of mystery and endlessly expanding universe with various new character introductions. One such group of characters are the GOROSEI. The GOROSEI are the 5 elders who stand at the pinnacle of the world government and are also the celestial dragons themselves.    

                                                   

With the release of chapter 1073 the name of one of the GOROSEI has been revealed. The name of the GOROSEI is SAINT JAYGARIA SATURN.                                                                                                                         

 All the characters in one piece at the beginning and after the time skip have gone through some physical changes, not just the power levels but appearances as well but the the GOROSEI look the same throughout from their introduction (chapter 233) to after time skip and the time has flown but they remain the same and is seen as being stuck in time. So, this points out one thing and that is-

ARE THEY IMMORTAL???

The GOROSEI are the highest authority of the world government who rule in the place of IMU sama as her proxy as her identity is kept hidden from the rest of the world, so currently she is the King/Queen of the world. So, from the looks of GOROSEI they don't seem to be ageing and have maintained their looks throughout. So, this and another interesting thing points to this possibility. Thus, this points out that they were the ones who ruled for 800 years after the void century as a proxy for IMU sama as they were IMMORTAL after using the fruits power of immortality operation on them done by or by forcing the former ope ope no mi users to sacrifice their life for them.
